Kenya straddles the equator. The Republic of Kenya, or Kenya, is a country in East Africa. It borders Ethiopia on the north, Somalia on the east, Tanzania on the south, Uganda on the west, and Sudan on the northwest, with the Indian Ocean on the southeast.

The Jade Sea - Lake Turkana is a must-see described by one travel writer as remote, mystical, bleak, forbidding and one of the most breathtakingly beautiful destinations on the continent of Africa.
